The real challenge for a leader isn’t in the numbers, it’s in the solitude of decision‑making.

Throughout my career, I’ve helped propel the teams of tomorrow. I’ve tried, succeeded, and… made mistakes. I’ve felt the thrill of collective energy that lifts entire teams, but also the solitude of late‑night work and its invisible pressure. Those “shadow tasks” that are expected without anyone seeing their weight, I carried them too.

After more than 20 years of mentoring and coaching others informally, professional coaching changed everything for me. It helped me face the limitations I was placing on myself. That shift gave me grounding and a sense of calm I had been missing.

Today, my mission is simple: you don’t have to carry that weight alone anymore. Through Franck Dervault Conseil and the ManagerNotAlone blog, I put my experience at your service. How? By offering a space for reflection where you regain clarity, broaden your options, and make decisions with confidence.

I work with you through two strategic levers:

  • Posture (Anchored Leadership): Breaking the isolation of decision‑makers, taming pressure, and aligning your choices with your values. Together, we strengthen your leadership posture so you can guide your teams with calm and intention, without losing yourself along the way.
  • Performance (On‑the‑Ground Mastery): Securing your critical deliverables. You gain access to 30 years of lived experience in risk management, innovation leadership, and complex project delivery.

Stop enduring the summit. Take back control of your trajectory.

I support leaders and their teams in complex environments by combining engineering expertise, an innovation mindset, and a coaching posture. My career has led me to develop ambitious technological products across diverse sectors—automotive, aerospace, civil engineering, and agriculture—and to contribute to major programs such as the A380, A350, CSeries, Global 7500, and John Deere’s 8RX track system.

Recognized for my ability to build and develop high‑performing teams, I have led up to 200 people while placing the human element at the heart of collective success. I’ve learned how to create environments where trust, autonomy, and high standards reinforce one another, enabling everyone to give their best.

I have also initiated and strengthened research partnerships with academic and industrial players, bridging strategic vision with pragmatic execution to turn ideas into concrete solutions.

Today, I bring this experience to managers and professionals in transition. My mentoring and coaching approach is grounded in listening, clarity, and action. I help leaders navigate difficult decisions, strengthen their relational skills, and turn challenges into opportunities for growth.

My ambition: to offer a space where managers can prepare, find inspiration, and act with confidence.

Leader in transition – spring 2026 – Alexandre L.

I had the chance to be supported by Franck at a moment when I was facing a major challenge — with a strong headwind like nothing I had ever experienced before.

From our very first conversations, I felt a kind of listening that was real, deep, and free of judgment. Franck has this rare ability to create a space where you can be fully yourself, lay things down, and then walk away with more clarity.

What struck me most was both the quality of his presence and the relevance of his insights. He doesn’t offer ready‑made solutions — he truly accompanies you, with nuance and precision, helping you move forward on your own, but never alone.

Thanks to him, I was able to recentre myself, see things differently, and regain a sense of steadiness at a time when I really needed it.

I recommend Franck to anyone going through a demanding period and looking for support that is human, thoughtful, and genuinely helpful.
